So we arrived today in Florida, where we will be until sometime in April. We have our reservation until the end of the month, but not yet sure when we will head back home.
As today is December 31st, I logged into Goodreads and updated my reading goals for 2020, and once again I will try to read 50 books. For 2019 I did manage to read 26. Some of them were short stories, but none the less, I was very glad to hit a little over the halfway mark.
According to Statistics in Goodreads, I read 4,034 pages in 26 books. My shortest book was 17 pages, and my longest was 390, with an average length of 155 pages.
I brought a few books from my To Be Read pile with me in the camper, and I have my Kindle as well, so have plenty to read for a while, anyway.
I will plan to write more about the journey to Florida in the coming days. I hope anyway.
I’m beat..utterly worn out and I love it. Spent the morning on my brother in laws boat cruising the intercoastal. The sun and fresh air have made me just want to nap everyday, and I have. It feels wrong but it was so needed. Right now I am laying on the bed in my bedroom, trying to rehydrate and possibly take a nap today. Yawn. I wonder if anyone will miss me.
It is now March, which means our vacation to Florida is just a few days away. I am so excited. We stay with my brother-in-law on the Gulf Side. The picture above is part of his beach off his property. Nice, isn’t it. The view is breathtaking and I get such amazing sunset pictures. I will have to post a few of them sometime.
I will have the means to make a post or two while I am gone, so I won’t ignore this new blog while I am gone. I am praying for good travel weather and a great relaxing time. With this view, how could it not be? Right?
